I tried to do 12 of 12 today, but I forgot to take pictures after a certain point and I can’t find the USB cord for my camera… such is life!

In health updates, last week I started another round of physical therapy. It’s at a different clinic and they have a slightly different approach than the first clinic I went to; less massage, more strength training and I think for me and my injury it’s a better approach. My range of motion has improved significantly in one week and my pain level has dropped from what I would call a 7 to a 5. THIS IS SUCH AN AMAZING DIFFERENCE.

I also got a spinning kit from the Yarn Pirate – now I just need a spinning implement and I can teach myself to spin! Hooray!

And I plan on keeping it that way. All because I mentioned that RON HOWARD biography we watched the other night.

But tonight is all about the first game in the NBA Finals, during which I plan on knitting in an obsessive-compulsive manner to ensure the victory of the Celtics over the Lakers.

I can get a lot of knitting done during an NBA finals game.

I am currently reading The Friday Night Knitting Club – and let me say that I am only 90 or so pages in, but this book is just bleurgh.

It reads as being incredibly formulaic, as if the characters were created to hit some magic demographic combos (it’s actually offending me the way she writes about the different ethnicities of the characters), and I seriously doubt that the author has ever picked up a knitting needle in her life.

I do not recommend this book. I doubt I will finish it.

I tweaked my hip in such a way that my ankle hurts.

I am knitting and watching Naruto in all of my spare time. I have no other purpose.
