It’s around 110 degrees in the desert, but it’s still a dry heat. We’re not catching the edge of the monsoons yet, and the desperate attempts to keep the golf courses green through the summer hasn’t created the dread humidity of July and August.
I actually don’t mind this heat – it’s the oppressive air conditioning that I’m subjected to everywhere I go that drives me crazy. A 30-40 degree difference between outside and inside is not good for a person.
Tom and I keep our house at 80 degrees, plus we use ceiling fans to circulate the air. This is very comfortable and makes the transition from outside to inside easier.
It also doesn’t cost as much.
Your house is very comfortable in summer.
