Even Temple is closed on the 25th, but not today. Lucky for me, Perfect Tommy is doing the dinner shopping today. And the store that I need to stop by is open until 7:00 PM so even if I have to work until 5:00 PM, I can still pick up some things.
We are having a small roast for our dinner, with some basic trimmings. Simple. We’ll probably watch “Elf” maybe “White Christmas” and hopefully, we’ll squeeze in “A Christmas Story” at some point during the TBS marathon.
I really love this time of year and being around Chanukah celebrations has just intensified those feelings that start around Thanksgiving. I’m reflecting and all that other stuff that comes along with the end of a year, and so far the only thing I’m set on is at some point in the future, I must drive a Delorean at 88 mph.
Christmas day will be a quiet one at home, I think. We haven’t made plans with any of our local friends and we’re also planning on being hermits for New Year’s Eve (unless Annika goes into labor around then, then I will be in LA, because I CAN) but we have been invited for an open house that weekend, so we might go if it’s not too windy.
How are your holidays shaping up?

Is it bad that I am kind of hoping to go into labor so I can see you?

Annika, I don’t think it’s bad at all! In fact, I think EVERYONE should combine their mental powers so that I can be there.

We need Cerebro!
