I don’t shop on Black Friday. Typically, if I do any shopping at all, it’s just to the grocery store for supplies to make it through the weekend and supplementing the Thanksgiving leftovers. Since we didn’t cook Thanksgiving this year, I had to go to the store and get food for dinner. A whole meal has to be cooked! Woe!
But we have pie. So that’s okay.
We still have a lot of stuff to get from the condo, and we’re not really moved in at all. I think we’ll do a big push tomorrow, so that we don’t have to do anything (hopefully!) on Sunday.
Then the evening will be spent arranging furniture and putting things away.
And decorating for Xmas. And making Xmas prezzies.
I really feel like the day after Thanksgiving is a big downer. More so than the day after Christmas or Hangover Day. I think that’s why it’s become such a popular shopping day – we’re all trying to fill the gaping hole inside with consumer goods. I prefer to sit around my house and eat too many sweets. At least I can work out tomorrow and feel better.

I think we had the same day after Thanksgiving. I sat around feeling that I should be doing something with the house, or at least work out to atone for my sins from the previous day. I did nothing but sit on the couch, eat pie, and watch t.v. It was very sad.
